God's love can't be explained, only experienced. – Author Unknown

Hello Dear Friend,

It’s hard to fathom the depth and length that God will go just get to His people. I don’t know about you, but far too often I fail to hear His anthem ringing over my life in that every-so-sweet softspoken whisper,

My unfailing love for you will not be moved.

My God is unmovable, never changing, and ever loving. Is there anything better than being loved beyond measure by the God of all creation? He spoke the universe into existence and yet, you and I are what He finds pleasure in the most. Above everything that He created we are the prized possession. We are His masterpieces, the apple of His eye, His peculiar treasures and His delight. He longs to have a relationship with us. He delights in dwelling with us because out of all that He created He views man as the most precious thing fashioned by His hand.

God rules and reigns high in the heavens but that doesn’t stop Him from wanting to draw near to His people. Even though the entrance of sin prevented Him from dwelling with His creation (a law established by Himself) in such an intimate way like when He walked among men in the garden of Eden, sin cannot keep Him from being connected to that which He created in His very image.

Satan’s ultimate goal is to break our connection with God and separate us from our Creator... forever. He thought he had succeeded when he pulled a fast one on Eve. First by conning her into eating the forbidden fruit followed by getting her to pass the fruit on to Adam for him to eat. Then, bam! As quick as a snap of the fingers sin entered into God’s perfect creation and the barrier was set, separating God from dwelling with man in the way He originally intended. I’m sure Satan thought that was it and most likely was even a little full of himself thinking, “Case closed, I’ve won.”

Shows what little he knew... God wrote the rules and no matter how hard Satan tries, he can’t outwit God. It’s here when my mind immediately enters the land that C.S. Lewis created. It’s in the land of Narnia I hear Aslan’s mighty roar echo through the air, “Do not cite the Deep Magic to me Witch! I was there when it was written.”

Nothing can separate us from dwelling in the presence of our Creator. God made sure of it. Even in the Old Testament God found a way, He used the temples and tabernacles as the way to manifest His glorious presence and talk with His people until the day when He gave the ultimate sacrifice – His Son. It’s hard to believe that God would send His only Son to come down from heaven just to breathe new life into His people but He did. His love for you and for me and His desire to dwell among us is that vast.

Unfailing Love

The Son of God, Jesus Christ came down to earth as the ultimate sacrifice and was the manifestation of the divine revelation of God. Once again, Satan thought he was crafty when he conned man into convicting Jesus and sentencing Him to death. As Jesus drew in His last breath and stated, “It is finished.” I’m sure Satan thought, “Damn right it’s finished! The precious Son of God is dead and I’ve won.”

If the witch understood the true meaning of sacrifice, she might have interpreted the Deep Magic differently. For when a willing victim who has committed no treachery, dies in a traitor’s stead, the stone table will crack and even death itself will turn backwards. – Aslan, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe

Jesus, the second Adam. Born of a virgin, lived spotless and holy, picked up the wages of sin for every human soul that would ever enter this world and died brutely all so that humanity could be reconnected with God. It took only seconds for Satan to corrupt the beautiful world that God designed but God allowed sin to enter this world so that one day He could prove His love and reveal His glory to us through His Son.

It was sin that pinned Jesus to that cross over 2000 years ago, but it's His unfailing love for us that kept Him there until all was said and done. Death couldn't defeat Him. The grave couldn't hold Him. And Hell didn't want Him. Why? He fulfilled every prophecy, broke every chain and demolished the barrier sin had placed between God and man.

Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory! He reflects the glory of God because He is God. It’s through Jesus we are saved and our connection to God is restored. When Christ returns, we will spend eternity dwelling with God in Heaven. Until that day, we can praise God knowing that we can behold His glory through His Son, Jesus.

With love,
